GiveConsent

Secure confirmation

Privacy Policy

Effective June 11, 2026

Who we are

GiveConsent is a consent-confirmation service. We work for the company that arranged your call and its network of home-buying partners — the ones named in the confirmation you read before you tap. Our job is to record your decision clearly, so there is always proof of exactly what you did and did not agree to.

GiveConsent does not buy homes and does not make offers. If we ever contact you, it is only about your own request or your consent record.

What we collect

To find the cash-offer confirmation prepared during your call, we collect the phone number and ZIP code you type on our site. We also keep a basic log of visits to our pages — such as IP address, date, and time — to keep the service secure.

Your confirmation page shows details about you and your property, like your name and address. Some of those details were provided to us by the company that arranged your call, from its records — you see them on the page and can ask to fix anything that looks wrong before you decide.

If you confirm, we save your confirmation record: the exact words you saw and agreed to, the date and time of your tap, your device's IP address, and basic technical details about your phone or computer. If you choose to add extra details after confirming, we save those too.

How we use and share it

We use your information to find your confirmation, show it to you, and record your decision. Nothing goes to any home-buying company unless you say yes. If you do, we send your confirmation — your recorded yes, together with your contact and property details — to the company named in it and its home-buying partners, so they can contact you about a possible offer. An offer is not guaranteed, and GiveConsent never makes one itself.

We want to be plain with you: we are paid for this service, and under some state privacy laws, passing your information to those companies counts as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can say no at any time — see "Your choices and rights" below.

A few service providers also handle information while you use our pages: TrustedForm, which independently documents your consent (described below); the companies that host our website; a text-messaging service, if we ever text you about your request; and Google, which receives your property address so it can show you the photo of your property and handles that request under its own privacy policy. Apart from all of the above, we do not sell, share, or give your information to anyone else — and we never send you marketing unrelated to your request. Two honest exceptions: we will share information when the law requires it — for example, a court order or subpoena — or to prove what you did or did not agree to in a legal dispute; and if our business is ever sold or reorganized, your information stays protected by this policy.

The independent record of your consent

When TrustedForm — a service from ActiveProspect — is active on your confirmation page, it independently documents your consent. It records the page address, the words and details shown to you, the information you type, your taps, a snapshot of the page, your device's IP address, and the dates and times of your visit. This record exists for one purpose: to prove what you saw and what you did or did not agree to. ActiveProspect may use it only to provide and protect the TrustedForm service — never to market to you.

How long we keep it

We keep your confirmation record — the exact words you agreed to and the details of your tap — for at least five years. Federal telemarketing rules require it, and it protects you too: it is the proof of what you did and did not agree to. We keep that record even if you later opt out or ask us to delete other information. If you opt out, we also keep your phone number on our do-not-contact list, used only to make sure you are left alone. Everything else we keep only as long as we reasonably need it.

Your choices and rights

You can opt out of calls and texts at any time, in any reasonable way: reply STOP to any text, tell anyone who calls you, or email us at privacy@giveconsent.com. Opt-outs must be honored within 10 business days at the latest.

Wherever you live, you can also ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or tell us not to sell or share it. If you live in California, these are your legal rights — including the right to know, to delete, to opt out of sale or sharing, and not to be treated differently for asking. We never penalize anyone for exercising a privacy right.

To make any request, email privacy@giveconsent.com. If you ask us to stop selling or sharing your information, we do that within 15 business days. For other requests, we confirm we received them and answer within 45 days. If the law requires us to keep something — like the consent record — we will tell you exactly what we kept and why, and you can appeal by replying to our answer. Someone you authorize may also make a request for you.

Children

Our service is for property owners and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor's information has reached us, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

The effective date at the top tells you when this policy last changed. If we make a material change — anything that affects what we collect or who receives it — we will post the new version here with a new date and, where the law requires it, give you notice and a chance to withdraw your consent before the change applies to you.

Questions

Email us at privacy@giveconsent.com. GiveConsent is the confirmation service, not the home buyer — questions about an offer are best answered by the company that contacts you, but if you are not sure who to ask, start with us and we will point you the right way.
